Before you start
What is primal play?
Play that drops the roles, the ceremony and most of the words in favour of instinct: chasing, wrestling, growling, catching, being caught. It's negotiated beforehand like everything else, and then it stops being polite.
Primal hunter or primal prey?
Hunter is the one chasing and pinning; prey is the one running and being caught. Some people are firmly one; many enjoy both depending on the partner. The test scores each and your mix shows the balance.
Is primal the same as dominant and submissive?
They rhyme but they aren't the same. A primal hunter isn't necessarily giving orders and prey isn't necessarily obeying any. The test keeps the axes separate.
