Before you start
What does it mean to be submissive?
Finding room to breathe in trusting someone else to steer, inside limits you set together. It's an active choice each time, not a personality flaw and not a job description, and it says nothing about how you are at work or with friends.
Am I submissive or a masochist?
Different axes. Submission is about who steers; masochism is about sensation. Plenty of submissives dislike pain and plenty of masochists want to be in charge of exactly how they get it. The test scores both separately.
Is being submissive the same as being weak?
No. Handing over control on purpose, to a person you've vetted, with a word that stops everything, takes more self-knowledge than most people ever bring to a relationship.
