Femdom
A dynamic where a woman leads: in a scene, a relationship or a household, with a man or a woman following.
Members say what they're into and what they're looking for on their card, in plain words. Browsing is free and needs no account; the faces are blurred until you join.
Femdom is simply dominance where the dominant is a woman. In practice it covers everything from a woman who likes to take charge in play, through female-led relationships where she makes the decisions, to the formal end with protocol, service and titles. The porn version (a stern stranger in heels) is the one most people have seen and the one least like the real thing, which is usually a relationship with a woman who happens to lead it.
The numbers are lopsided in the other direction from most of the scene: there are many more men who want to submit to a woman than women who want to dominate. A woman exploring dominance will find herself in demand and will need to filter hard for the men who want her, not a service. A man looking for a Domme should know he is one of many and that the way in is being interesting and useful, not asking to be dominated.
What women who do it say they get from it: being wanted for their judgement, not their looks; a partner who is attentive by design; and the pleasure of leading, which is not a gendered thing at all. It pairs with chastity, service submission, orgasm control and ordinary life.
Signs this is you
- You'd rather be obeyed than adored, or obey than be adored.
- Making the decisions in a relationship relaxes you rather than tiring you.
- You've been called bossy as an insult and taken it as a compliment.
- For men: a woman telling you what to do is the whole fantasy, not the preamble.

How people do it safely
For women starting out: the volume of messages from men is the hazard, not the men. Set your filters, make them come to you with something to offer, and meet in public first like anyone else. For men: never open with a request to be dominated; it is the fastest way to be ignored.

Common questions
Is Femdom only about men submitting to women?
No. The dominant is a woman; the submissive can be anyone. Women submitting to women is Femdom too.
Where are the Dommes?
In relationships, mostly, and in demand. On this site, filter the room to women who lead; it is one tap.
Is a female-led relationship the same as Femdom?
It is one form of it: the everyday, outside-the-bedroom form. Femdom in play can exist without it and the reverse.
A plain-language guide, not advice from a professional, and nothing here is better or worse than anything else. People are into several of these at once, and what fits changes over time.
